• Matric certificate/ equivalent
• Section 13 Trade Test or section 26D as a qualified fitter.
• 5 years’ traceable experience as a qualified mechanical related artisan on Earthmoving or TMM equipment
• 5 years’ traceable supervisor experience as appointed Foreman in Mining underground
• Must have competent

• Computer literate
• Valid Driver’s license – Code 8
• Medically fit

• Heavy Earthmoving and general maintenance management experience withing underground TMM or an open pit environment.
• People management experience to enable the team to perform to their full potential.
• Have a good understanding regarding LCM (Life cycle management) philosophy and how to implement it accordingly.
• Be able to implement and sustain initiative-taking condition base monitoring processes / system that form part of the KPI.
• Be able to implement set Engineering related systems and procedures without any compromises.
• Excellent in fault finding skills.

• Overseeing and coordinating mechanical activities.
• Supervising mechanical team.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Managing the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Assigning tasks and training employees.
• Inspecting work and performance equipment installation and maintenance.
• Collaborating with engineers in planning and commissioning projects.
• Assist in conducting failure analysis studies and recommend alternative strategies for maintenance.
