TECHNICAL ESTIMATOR / TECHNICIAN (ROLLER SHUTTERS & DOCK LEVELLERS)
Location: Benoni

Salary: R12,000 – R18,000 (negotiable, based on experience)

Introduction
An established organisation in Lynnwood is seeking a young, vibrant, and dynamic Technical Estimator / Technician with experience in roller shutters or dock levellers
. The ideal candidate will handle client enquiries, prepare quotations, manage key accounts, and support technical assessments on customer sites.

, build long‑term stability, and avoid frequent job changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Enquiries — Attend to incoming client queries regarding roller shutters and dock levellers
- Technical Assessments — Conduct basic technical evaluations on equipment and identify repair or replacement needs
- Quotations — Prepare quotations for new installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Costing — Perform costing for machines and equipment requiring repair
- Key Account Management — Maintain strong relationships with key clients and ensure service excellence
- Job Coordination — Assist with scheduling, job cards, and workflow coordination
- Sage Experience — Use Sage for quotations, invoicing, or job costing (beneficial)
- Technical Support — Provide product knowledge and technical guidance to clients
Minimum Requirements
- Experience with roller shutters or dock levellers (essential)
- 3+ years experience as a Technical Estimator
, Technician
, or Technical Sales Support - Strong technical understanding of industrial doors or loading bay equipment
- Experience preparing quotations and costing
- Sage experience beneficial
- Young, energetic, and eager to grow within the organisation
- No job hoppers — stable employment history required
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills
- Valid driver’s licence (advantageous)
- Professional, reliable, and well‑presented
