Location: Mbombela
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the workshop.
- Allocate work to technicians and monitor productivity and efficiency.
- Provide technical support and guidance to workshop staff.
- Diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults on forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Perform quality inspections on completed repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure all servicing and repairs are carried out according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.
- Monitor work in progress and ensure jobs are completed within agreed turnaround times.
- Ensure accurate completion of job cards, inspection reports and service documentation.
- Liaise with the Parts Department to ensure timely availability of required components.
- Maintain high workshop housekeeping standards.
- Enforce compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Coach, mentor and develop technicians to improve technical skills and performance.
- Assist with customer queries relating to technical matters where required.
- Drive continuous improvement in workshop performance, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
