Description

We have an opportunity for 2 (two) apprentices to join our organisation to complete their practical training needed to qualify as a Millwright

• Assembly and Installation:
  Assemble hydraulic systems following engineering drawings and specifications.
  Install hydraulic systems in various applications ensuring adherence to detailed instructions and protocols.
• Repair and Maintenance:
  Diagnose issues within hydraulic systems and perform necessary repairs to restore functionality.
  Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Component Replacement:
  Replace worn or damaged components such as pumps, valves, hoses, and fittings.
• Assembly and Wiring:
  Assemble electrical control panels by mounting components such as circuit breakers, relays, and terminal blocks onto back panels or sub-panels.
  Wire electrical components according to schematic diagrams, ensuring proper connections and adherence to electrical codes.
  Label wires and components for identification and ease of troubleshooting.
• Troubleshooting:
  Identify malfunctions and failures within hydraulic systems.
  Determine root causes and implement effective solutions.

• Education:
  
  Matric and/or Technical N3 (Math's, Science, Technical Drawings, Mechanical Engineering)
• Experience:
  
  Training from QCTO-registered trade school Min Two Years practical
• Must Have Complete Institute Training Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
• Hydraulic skill will be an advantage
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in electrical assembly will be an advantage
  
  Good communication and people skills

  Willing to work overtime if required
