Master Electrician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly qualified and licensed Master Electrician to oversee all electrical installations and maintenance for construction projects in Klerksdorp . This senior role requires comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards. You will be responsible for planning, supervising, and executing electrical work, ensuring that all installations are safe, compliant, and efficient. This is a critical position for ensuring the reliable power supply and functionality of the structures being built, contributing to the robust development within the North West province.

• Plan, install, and maintain electrical systems in new construction and renovation projects.
• Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local, national, and international codes and standards.
• Supervise and mentor journeyman electricians and apprentices.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues efficiently and safely.
• Manage electrical materials and inventory, ensuring timely procurement.

• Valid Master Electrician license or equivalent qualification.
• Extensive experience in commercial and residential electrical systems.
• In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and tools.
