Key Responsibilities
Install, configure and test alarm and CCTV systems. Service and maintain existing security systems. Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs. Perform routine inspections, maintenance and system testing. Ensure all equipment operates reliably and according to the required standards. Complete installation, maintenance and service reports accurately. Explain system operation and basic troubleshooting procedures to customers. Deliver professional and customer-focused service. Maintain tools, equipment and company resources responsibly.
Adhere to safety procedures and security industry standards.
Proven experience installing and servicing alarm systems. Practical experience with CCTV installation and monitoring systems. Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. PSIRA registration is required;
Grade C is preferred . Valid drivers licence. Own reliable vehicle. Must preferably reside in Hout Bay or the surrounding area. Able to work independently and complete tasks to a high standard. Reliable, professional and customer-focused. Good communication and report-writing skills.
Only candidates with relevant hands-on technical experience in alarm and CCTV systems will be considered.
