Minimum Qualifications / Experience
* Minimum Grade 12
* Qualified Diesel Mechanic/ Earthmoving equipment Mechanic (Red Seal/Trade Test)
* Valid Driver’s License
* 5 years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic
* Must have knowledge on Yellow Machines
* Must have knowledge of On Key system
* Pre-employment medical required
* Computer Literate##### Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
* Always maintain professional workmanship standards
* Strictly adhere to applicable Quality Assurance Processes & Procedures
* Have knowledge of engines, hydraulics pneumatics, undercarriage and auto electrical.
* Repair loaders, dumpers, excavators’, trucks & LDV’s within specification and agreed repair times
* Ensure complete, accurate and timeous job card feedback and repair reports
* Conduct troubleshooting, Fault Diagnosis and do RCA on failures
* Perform machine inspections on vehicles and compile backlog lists
* Coordinate assistants to carried out first line of maintenance tasks
* Pro-actively support & participate in safety & work practice related initiatives
* Use of Personal Protective Equipment in accordance with the applicable policy & prescriptions
* Keeping own working area clean, tidy & presentable always
* Managing & maintaining tooling in good, serviceable condition##### Please send the following documents to apply:
