Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Key Competencies
* Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
* Valid Electrical Trade Test
* Valid MV/HT Competency certificate (added advantage)
* Must have a valid driver’s license
* A minimum of five years’ management experience within a mining environment.
* Must have previous authorizations to perform High/Medium Voltage switching
* Advanced fault-finding, ability to read complex blueprints/schematics, and knowledge of PLC systems
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
* Ability to work independently within set targets.
* People management and communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing conditions, and manage a team effectively.##### Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
* Team Supervision:
Lead and coordinate electrical artisans and contractors, ensuring work is completed to standard and on deadline.
* Maintenance Management:
Plan and execute preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment failures, and manage emergency breakdown repairs.
* Safety & Compliance:
Enforce strict adherence to safety standards (such as the Mine Health and Safety Act), conduct risk assessments, and lead safety meetings or  toolbox talks .
* Resource Oversight:
Manage budgets, coordinate the procurement of spare parts, and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained.
* Technical Oversight:
Supervise medium and high voltage (MV/HV) reticulation, substation maintenance, and specialized mining equipment like crushers.
* Administrative Duties:
Maintain meticulous records of tasks, update maintenance systems, and report progress to senior engineer.##### Please send the following documents to apply:
