About the Role

Our client is offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity for aspiring individuals to train as Apprentice Boilermakers in Klerksdorp . This apprenticeship is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain boilers, tanks, pressure vessels, and complex metal structures. Working under expert guidance, you will learn to read technical drawings, operate specialized equipment, and apply welding and metalworking techniques.

We are seeking candidates with a strong practical aptitude, a dedication to safety, and a commitment to mastering a skilled trade.

• Assist qualified boilermakers in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of metal structures and vessels.
• Learn to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately.
• Operate various metalworking tools and machinery, including cutting, shaping, and forming equipment.
• Assist with welding and joining metal components using appropriate techniques and safety procedures.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on existing boilers, tanks, and pressure vessels.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations.

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent, with a strong pass in Mathematics and Physical Science.
• Demonstrated manual dexterity and a practical, hands-on approach to work.
• Ability to work safely with tools and machinery, and a commitment to safety protocols.
• Good physical health, including the ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in various conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Eagerness to learn and a commitment to completing the full apprenticeship program.
