About the Role

Our client is looking for eager individuals to train as Apprentice Mechanical Fitters in Klerksdorp . This apprenticeship provides comprehensive practical and theoretical training, enabling you to become a skilled artisan capable of assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and machinery. You will work in a dynamic industrial environment, learning from experienced tradespeople and contributing to the smooth operation of various mechanical systems.

This role is perfect for someone with a mechanical aptitude who is keen to develop a hands‑on career in a technically demanding field within the North West province.

• Assist senior mechanical fitters in the assembly and installation of machinery and mechanical components.
• Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Conduct routine maintenance, inspection, and minor repairs on mechanical equipment.
• Operate workshop machinery and tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification, with a pass in Mathematics and Physical Science preferred.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a strong interest in fitting and turning.
• Ability to work accurately and meticulously, paying attention to detail.
• Physically capable of performing manual labor and working in various industrial settings.
• Willingness to undergo formal training and on-the-job learning.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Klerksdorp area and be eligible to work in South Africa.
