About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and reliable Field Equipment Installer to join their operations in Vereeniging, Gauteng . This role involves traveling to various client sites to install, set up, and test a range of specialized equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring that installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on position perfect for an individual who enjoys practical work, problem-solving on-site, and interacting directly with customers to ensure their needs are met effectively within the Gauteng region.

• Install and assemble equipment at customer locations according to provided specifications and diagrams.
• Perform initial setup, configuration, and testing to ensure full functionality post-installation.
• Troubleshoot any installation-related issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
• Conduct thorough inspections to verify that all installations meet safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including materials used and time spent.
• Provide basic operational guidance to clients on the installed equipment.

• Previous experience as an Equipment Installer , Field Technician, or in a similar hands-on role.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to interpret installation manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have a reliable means of transportation.
