About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced HVAC Installation Technician to join their team in Klerksdorp . This role is essential for ensuring that residential and commercial properties are equipped with efficient and reliable heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will be responsible for installing new HVAC units, performing system checks, and ensuring all installations meet safety and performance standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong technical skills in HVAC systems, and is committed to delivering high-quality workmanship for clients in the North West province, contributing to customer comfort and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Install new HVAC systems , including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment, in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the correct placement and installation procedures for HVAC components.
- Perform system start-ups, balancing, and testing to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Ensure all installations comply with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards .
- Educate customers on the operation and maintenance of their new HVAC systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly handled.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Installation Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, system components, and installation best practices.
- Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and installation manuals.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., EPA Section 608) are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in execution.
- Physical ability to work in various environments and handle required equipment.
