About the Role

Our client is seeking eager individuals to become Apprentice Mechanical Fitters in Vereeniging . This apprenticeship program provides comprehensive training in the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and machinery. Under the guidance of experienced artisans, you will develop critical skills in precision fitting, understanding technical drawings, and working with various mechanical components. This role is fundamental to manufacturing and industrial operations, offering a stable and respected trade career.

• Assist qualified artisans in the fitting and assembly of mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Learn to interpret technical specifications , blueprints, and schematics.
• Perform precision fitting, aligning, and adjusting mechanical parts.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment under supervision.
• Ensure all work is performed to high-quality standards and adheres to safety regulations .

• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent with a pass in Mathematics and Physical Science.
• A keen interest in mechanical systems and hands-on work.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions precisely.
• Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the role.

• Structured apprenticeship leading to a Red Seal qualification as a Mechanical Fitter.
