This is a full-time on-site role for a skilled Seamstress/Tailor located in Brakpan. The role involves crafting, altering, repairing, and fitting garments according to client specifications. Key responsibilities include dressmaking, tailoring, performing fittings with customers, and ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality and precise results. Collaboration with customers to understand their preferences and offering professional advice on garment alterations will also be integral to the role.
Qualifications- Experience in Dressmaking and Tailoring with a strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in conducting Fittings and altering garments to ensure client satisfaction
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience working in a tailoring or dressmaking environment is an advantage
- Formal training or certification in tailoring
