Field Service Technician - Energy Equipment

Our client is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Field Service Technician to support their extensive range of energy equipment in the Klerksdorp area. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical energy generation and distribution systems. You will act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, ensuring their equipment operates efficiently and reliably.

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative servicing on various energy equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system faults promptly.

• Provide clear and concise technical reports on service calls, including work performed and recommendations.
• Respond to emergency service calls to minimize equipment downtime for clients.
• Maintain a high level of technical expertise and safety awareness in all activities.

• Technical qualification (e.g., NQF Level 4/5) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related trade.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Service Technician, preferably in the energy or industrial equipment sector.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for complex machinery.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively within the designated region.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
