About the Role

Our client is seeking enthusiastic individuals to train as Apprentice Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technicians in Nelspruit. This program provides comprehensive training in the installation, maintenance, and repair of cooling and climate control systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. You will work alongside experienced technicians, learning diagnostic procedures, system troubleshooting, and best practices for efficiency and safety. We are looking for candidates with a strong aptitude for mechanics and electronics, a commitment to continuous learning, and a desire to build a career in a growing and essential trade.

• Assist in the installation of refrigeration and air conditioning units according to specifications.
• Learn to perform routine maintenance and servicing on various systems.
• Help diagnose system faults and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct pressure testing, leak detection, and vacuuming of systems under supervision.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of service and repair activities.

• Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent with a focus on technical subjects.
• Basic understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical principles, and HVAC systems.
