About the Role
Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their established team in Vereeniging . This role is integral to the smooth and safe operation of our industrial facilities, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring all electrical infrastructure meets stringent safety standards and operational requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and possesses strong troubleshooting abilities, contributing to the continuous productivity of our operations in Gauteng .
Key Responsibilities- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and components in an industrial setting.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults using appropriate testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical machinery and equipment to minimize operational disruptions.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, electrical codes, and company policies.
- Collaborate with the wider maintenance team on various projects and daily tasks.
- Qualified Electrician with a relevant trade qualification (e.g., Wireman's license, N3 Electrical).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a maintenance electrician role, preferably in an industrial environment.
- Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, control panels, and low-voltage systems.
- Proficiency with electrical testing instruments and diagnostic equipment.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and a proactive approach to hazard identification.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
