Installation and Maintenance Technician

Our client is seeking a meticulous and hands‑on Installation and Maintenance Technician to join their operations in Vereeniging. You will be responsible for conducting on‑site installations, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise, directly impacting client satisfaction and operational continuity.

• Perform professional on-site installations of equipment and systems according to project specifications and company standards.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance checks and servicing to ensure optimal equipment functionality.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or system faults efficiently and effectively.
• Respond promptly to service calls for maintenance and repair requests from clients.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
• Accurately document all service activities, including work performed, parts used, and time logs, using designated reporting systems.

• Proven experience as an Installation and Maintenance Technician or in a similar technical field.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
• Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required for travel to client sites across Vereeniging and surrounding areas.
