Solar PV Installation Technician

Our client is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Solar PV Installation Technician to join their growing team in Klerksdorp . You will be responsible for the hands-on installation of photovoltaic solar systems on residential, commercial, and industrial properties. This role requires excellent technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship. You will work as part of a dedicated installation crew, contributing directly to the expansion of clean energy solutions within the North West province .

This is a critical field-based role focused on delivering reliable solar power systems.

• Install solar panels, inverters, mounting hardware, and associated electrical components according to design specifications.
• Perform electrical wiring and connections, ensuring compliance with national electrical codes and safety standards.
• Conduct system testing and commissioning to verify proper operation and performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair existing solar PV installations as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and site supervisors to ensure efficient project completion.

• Proven experience as a Solar PV Installer or licensed Electrician with solar installation experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and safety practices.
• Familiarity with various types of solar panels, inverters, and mounting systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and installation manuals.
• Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
