Avionics Technician

Location: Bonaero Park, Kempton Park

Salary: R12 000 – R15 000 per month

Our client, a well-established organisation within the aviation industry, is seeking a newly qualified Trade Tested Avionics Technician to join their growing technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to gain hands‑on experience in a professional aircraft maintenance environment.

• Perform maintenance, repairs and fault‑finding on aircraft avionics systems.

• Assist with the installation, testing and inspection of avionics equipment.

• Diagnose and rectify electrical and electronic faults.

• Ensure all maintenance work complies with aviation regulations and company procedures.

• Complete all required maintenance documentation accurately.

• Use technical manuals, wiring diagrams and maintenance instructions.

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.

• Work effectively within a team while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

• Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Maintenance Manager.

• Trade Tested Avionics Technician (essential).

• Newly qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Sound knowledge of aircraft electrical and avionics systems.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.

• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.

• Good communication skills in English.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
