Triton Truck and Trailer, based in Mbombela, has the following position available:
Triton Express:
Mechanic (Mbombela).

• Servicing and repairing of heavy duty vehicles.
• Replacing of parts.
• Attending to fault finding.
• Attending to the replacements of engines, gearboxes, brakes, clutch.
• Inspecting and checking of vehicles.
• Attending to mechanical and electric breakdowns.
• Maintaining and repairing of hydraulic faults.
• Knowledge of trailers essential.
• Knowledge of air system.
• Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic.
• Attending and repairing of all commercial vehicles.
• Attending breakdowns on road sites.

• Grade 12 minimum (Matric).
• Certified Diesel Mechanic – Trade Certificate.
• Minimum of 5 years working experience.
• Experience working on Volvo and Scania trucks would be an advantage.
• Unendorsed driver’s license.
• Valid PDP.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work standby.
• Ability to work unsupervised majority of the time.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and written on all levels – both internally and externally.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Good time management – meeting specific deadlines.
• Prepared to work outside normal working hours – as and when required.
• Attention to detail at all times – accuracy.
• Excellent listening skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Reliable.
