Rate: R184.32 per hour

The Electrical Artisan will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, identifying and resolving electrical faults, conducting inspections, and ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with safety procedures, site standards, and applicable hazardous area regulations.

• Apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before performing maintenance or repairs.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
• Comply with hazardous area regulations.
• Identify and report safety hazards and deviations.
• Take corrective action to address safety concerns.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults.
• Inspect equipment for defects and potential failures.
• Replace defective components.
• Conduct inspections in hazardous areas.

• Complete job cards and submit them on time.
• Record maintenance activities and test results.
• Identify defects and report deviations.
• Communicate work progress to supervisors.

• Relevant Electrical Artisan qualification or trade test.
• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety standards.
• Working at Heights training.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in industrial environments.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
• Willingness to comply with site-specific requirements.
