Remote Precision Agriculture Consultant

Our client, a leader in agricultural technology solutions, is seeking an innovative Remote Precision Agriculture Consultant to guide farmers in optimizing their operations through data-driven techniques. In this fully remote role, you will advise clients on the effective implementation and utilization of precision agriculture technologies, including GPS guidance, variable rate application, remote sensing, and data management systems. Your expertise will help farms increase efficiency, reduce input costs, and improve environmental sustainability.

• Consult with farmers and agricultural businesses to assess their needs and recommend tailored precision agriculture strategies and technologies.
• Assist clients in the selection, setup, and operation of precision agriculture equipment and software.
• Analyze farm data, including yield maps, soil sampling results, and imagery, to provide actionable recommendations for crop management.
• Provide remote training and ongoing support to clients on the use of precision agriculture tools and platforms.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in precision agriculture technologies, drones, sensors, and farm management software.
• Develop best practices and case studies to share knowledge and promote the benefits of precision farming.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Precision Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in precision agriculture, agronomy, or farm management with a focus on technology implementation.
• Strong understanding of GPS, GIS, VRT, remote sensing, and farm data management systems.
• Experience with various farm management software platforms and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills, adapted for remote interaction.
• Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into practical, farm-level recommendations.
