Industrial Equipment Technician

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Equipment Technician to join their operations in Nelspruit . This role is crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of a wide range of industrial machinery. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnosing complex issues, and executing repairs on equipment critical to our client's production processes. • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and calibrations on various industrial machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic failures, identifying root causes and implementing effective repairs.
• Install, test, and commission new industrial equipment according to specifications.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to guide maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
• Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment status.

• Proven experience as an Industrial Equipment Technician or a similar technical role within Installation & Maintenance .
• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and control systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools relevant to industrial maintenance.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to work on-site across various industrial facilities in the Nelspruit area.
