Field Service Technician - Industrial Equipment

• Install, commission, and set up new industrial equipment according to manufacturer specifications and client requirements.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing on a range of industrial machinery to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, identifying root causes of equipment failures.
• Execute repairs efficiently and effectively, using appropriate tools and techniques to restore equipment functionality.
• Provide technical support and training to client operators and maintenance staff on equipment usage and basic troubleshooting.
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency breakdowns, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Maintain accurate service reports, documenting all work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Manage a service vehicle, ensuring it is well‑stocked with necessary parts and tools.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations while on client sites.
• Collaborate with the engineering and sales departments to provide feedback on equipment performance and client needs.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Field Service Technician, preferably with industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and potentially hydraulic/pneumatic aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for complex machinery.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and test equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule, including occasional overtime and weekend work as needed.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to travel within the
