Installation Technician - Security Systems

Our client, a leading provider of advanced security solutions, is seeking a diligent and technically proficient Installation Technician to join their team in Vereeniging, Gauteng. This role is crucial for the successful deployment and setup of sophisticated security systems, including alarm systems, CCTV cameras, access control, and related hardware for residential and commercial clients. You will be responsible for performing site surveys, installing equipment according to specifications, and providing basic client training on system operation. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and excellent customer service skills. You will be a key representative of our client, ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of security systems throughout the Vereeniging region and beyond.

• Install, configure, and test a variety of security systems, including alarm panels, CCTV, access control, and intercoms.
• Conduct on-site assessments to determine optimal equipment placement and installation routes.
• Mount and connect security hardware, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with design specifications.
• Run and terminate cables for various security system components.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and perform necessary adjustments to ensure system integrity.
• Provide basic system operation training to end-users.

• Strong understanding of electrical wiring and low-voltage systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
