About the Role Our client, a leading provider of telecommunications infrastructure and services, is seeking a skilled and reliable Telecom Field Service Technician to join their operational team in Klerksdorp, North West . This hands‑on role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment and systems at customer sites and network facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring the operational integrity of network components, troubleshooting technical issues, and performing routine maintenance to guarantee service continuity. Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain telecommunications equipment, including routers, switches, fiber optic cabling, and wireless devices.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in Telecommunications or Electronics is highly preferred.
• Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role in the telecommunications industry.
• Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting various types of telecom hardware and software.
• Knowledge of fiber optic installation and testing procedures.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP).
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
