Part of the Hall & Woodhouse family of exceptional pubs at the heart of the community, the Plough is situated on the edge of Bursledon surrounded by farmland but close to the city. Inspired by astronomy, the pub takes its name from the Plough star constellation, which (at night) lights up in the wall adjacent to the main entrance. With a beautiful garden and children’s play area, the pub is ideal for those long hot summers and when the nights start to draw in, the roaring log fire and cosy interior really come into their own.

• A shift leader or assistant manager who is kind, calm, organized, approachable and able to take responsibility
• Able to ensure that the shift opening losing, security and safety procedures are followed
• Well presented and confident with an eye for detail
• Committed and willing to support the GM in developing the skills of team colleagues
• Organized, logical and able to keep on top of multiple tasks
• Determined to provide the best possible experience for our guests
• Able to reliably manage the commute, days, evenings and weekends
• A great host who gets a buzz providing hospitality that makes people's day

Previous supervisory experience and knowledge of hospitality operations with a busy food profile is a big advantage.
