What will the role involve? Working closely with the Cluster Sales & Events Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales performance, maximising conversion opportunities, and helping deliver weddings, social events, conferences, and corporate functions that exceed client expectations through a bespoke approach.

As Assistant Cluster Sales & Events Manager, you will be the lead wedding specialist supporting the management of the Sales & Events office, helping to achieve revenue targets through the effective handling of enquiries, event planning, and client relationship management.

You will work with the operational team to ensure seamless execution of all events, coordinating all event details with meticulous attention to detail.

Ensuring all bedroom, meeting and function room bookings, menus, reservation administration, contracts, and payment arrangements are accurately managed and in place for both individual and group bookings, working closely with the Front Office team to ensure a seamless guest experience.

This is a full-time role working 5 days out of 7 including some weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, which may vary depending on business. Flexible working hours can be accommodated where possible.

  • Organised, driven, and passionate about hospitality sales and event delivery with good knowledge of weddings, social events, conferences and tour group event planning.
  • Strong administrative and IT skills, including experience of hotel and event management systems. Knowledge of Opera is highly desirable.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current Sales and Events experience within a 4/5 star luxury hotel environment.
