Our client is a leading fire protection company providing fire detection and suppression equipment and due to their continued expansion Staffbase has been appointed to recruit for the position for Fire Extinguisher Engineer.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Fire Extinguisher Engineer (BAFE or IFEDA trained). Excellent opportunity for training on Fire Alarms systems and career progression.
Basic £30K - £32K + Bonus OTE £40K - £45K
The Role- Operate as a field service engineer responsible for planned and reactive maintenance and inspection of fire extinguishers and alarm systems in the Berkshire, Hampshire, Slough and Wiltshire areas.
- Replace failed and faulty devices.
- Replace extinguishers and Fire Safely ancillary products, emergency signage, etc.
- Upsell and cross‑sell Fire Safely ancillary products.
- Repair and fault‑find fire suppression and alarm systems (full training will be given on alarm systems).
- Schedule your own works daily/weekly.
- At least three years of experience as a Fire Extinguisher Engineer.
- Must have BAFE or IFEDA training.
- Must hold a UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Opportunity to train and upskill to become a fire alarm and emergency lighting engineer (full training will be provided).
- Excellent basic salary + Bonus + Commission OTE £42K+
