Labourer, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor, Carpentry

Orbit Workforce Solutions are recruiting for a Labourer / Carpenter’s Mate on behalf of a growing specialist construction company.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in carpentry and construction who is looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career within the trade.

Responsibilities

* Assisting skilled carpenters on-site

* General labouring duties

* Loading and unloading materials

* Keeping work areas clean and organised

* Using hand and power tools safely

* Supporting installations and workshop preparation

Requirements

* Full UK driving licence and own transport essential

* Previous experience working alongside carpenters preferred, or a genuine interest in getting into the carpentry trade

* Hardworking, reliable, and willing to learn

* Good attitude and strong work ethic

* Able to work well as part of a team

* Physically fit and comfortable with manual work

* CSCS card beneficial but not essential
