Location: Nursling
Our client, a reputable company in Southampton, Hampshire, is seeking an experienced Van Service Technician to join their highly regarded team. As a Van Service Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the company's high standards of vehicle repair and customer service.

- Earlies:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (37.5 hours per week) - Lates:
Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm (40 hours per week)

- Carry out detailed inspections, maintenance, and repairs on vans across various brands to high standards
- Follow manufacturer repair procedures and accurately complete job cards
- Remove and refit parts efficiently across multiple vehicle types
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, applying problem‑solving skills
- Perform safety checks and detailed mechanical inspections on incoming vehicles
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment adhering to health and safety regulations
- Complete all repair work within specified time frames and quality standards
- Support team members and contribute to a constructive work environment
- Proven experience as a Van Service Technician or similar role within the automotive industry
- Strong mechanical and electrical fitting skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Adaptability to fast‑paced work environments and changing priorities
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations
- Willingness to undertake MOT testing qualification if not already qualified
- Flexibility to work early or late shifts as required
