Location: Nursling

Our client, a reputable company in Southampton, Hampshire, is seeking an experienced Van Service Technician to join their highly regarded team.     • Earlies:
      Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (37.5 hours per week)

Duties of a Van Service Technician
  • Carry out detailed inspections, maintenance, and repairs on vans across various brands to high standards
  • Follow manufacturer repair procedures and accurately complete job cards
  • Remove and refit parts efficiently across multiple vehicle types
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, applying problem‑solving skills
  • Perform safety checks and detailed mechanical inspections on incoming vehicles
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Complete all repair work within specified time frames and quality standards
  • Support team members and contribute to a constructive work environment
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Van Service Technician or similar role within the automotive industry
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fitting skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Adaptability to fast‑paced work environments and changing priorities
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Willingness to undertake MOT testing qualification if not already qualified
  • Flexibility to work early or late shifts as required
