From £25,877 to £27,011 depending on skills and experience and working hours - Time Incentive Management (TIM) Bonus Scheme, plus a range of other benefits.

Permanent – Full Time;
Core hours are Monday to Friday 07:30 – 15:30 with flexibility around start and finish times required due to the nature of the works.

Out of Hours standby is also a requirement of the role, which is on a rota basis.

This team is responsible for the ongoing street lighting works in Hampshire and Southampton as part of the South Coast PFI.

• Maintaining our street lighting infrastructure including streetlights, signs, subways, lamp changes, visual inspections, and electrical testing.
• Carry out electrical connections to new street lighting infrastructure.
• Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs.
• Ensure outstanding service delivery to our clients and the public.
• Operate a mobile elevated working platform (MEWP).
• Attend the emergency standby rota, which includes being on call to attend emergency call-outs out of hours Monday to Sunday.
• Work to strict safety guidelines and regulations.

• Previous experience in the Highways industry.
• Electrical background and completion of NVQ Level 2.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Comfortable working at height, operating a MEWP above 12 m.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.

• IPAF/PASMA training for working at heights.
• Knowledge of the 18th Edition.
• Qualifications such as AM2, City and Guilds 2391.
• Completion of G39/Safe Isolation Training.
