Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Installation Engineer – Progress to Project / Service Manager International Travel Opportunities

We’re recruiting on behalf of a specialist contractor delivering bespoke cooling solutions for high-end residential projects throughout the UK and internationally. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an engineer to take responsibility for the installation, commissioning, servicing and fault finding of specialist wine cellar cooling systems.

The role is heavily installation-focused, working primarily on DX split refrigeration systems, alongside an increasing number of chilled water (H₂O) systems, with projects ranging from private homes across the UK to occasional overseas installations.

• F-Gas Category 1
• Proven experience installing and commissioning DX split air conditioning or refrigeration systems.
• Competent with refrigerant pipework, brazing, pressure testing, evacuation, refrigerant charging and commissioning.
• Strong fault-finding and servicing experience on split systems.
• Experience with chilled water systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Able to work independently and manage projects on site.
• Comfortable travelling throughout the UK, staying away when required and undertaking occasional overseas travel.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

• Salary circa £40,000-£50,000 (depending on experience).
• Home-based role with nationwide coverage (South of England preferred).
• Door-to-door travel paid.
• Company van and fuel card.
• Hotels, travel and all expenses covered.
• 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
• Two-week Christmas shutdown in addition to annual leave.

Genuine opportunity to play a key role in establishing and growing the role, with progression into a Service Manager or Project Manager position.
