2nd Fix Carpenter

We are looking for an experienced 2nd Fix Carpenter to join our growing modular construction team. This role focuses on the finishing stage of factory-built units, ensuring all visible carpentry elements are installed to a high standard before final handover. You will work in a fast-paced, quality-driven factory environment where precision and consistency are key.

Install internal finishing elements including:

• Doors, frames, and ironmongery
• Skirting boards, architraves, and mouldings
• Kitchen units, worktops, and fitted furniture
• Window boards and finishing trims
• Carry out final adjustments to ensure perfect fit and finish
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Work to tight tolerances and high aesthetic standards
• Conduct quality checks and snagging prior to completion
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Coordinate with other trades (e.g., decorators, electricians, plumbers)
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

• Proven experience as a 2nd Fix Carpenter or Finish Carpenter
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
• Ability to read technical drawings and plans
• Skilled in installing fine carpentry and finishing components
• Good knowledge of health & safety practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
