Security Service Engineer (Temporary Sub-Contract Role)

V7 are recruiting experienced Fire & Security Service Engineers to support a national commercial contract across the Southampton / Portsmouth area.

This is a multi-skilled role with a stronger focus on security systems, including access control, intercoms, and CCTV.

This role offers stable, long-term subcontract work across commercial sites in the region.

• Initial 6-month rolling contract
• Monday to Friday working pattern (weekend work available)
• Servicing and maintenance of security systems (primary focus) - access control, intercoms,
• Fault-finding and reactive repairs across security systems
• Basic servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting where required
• Working across commercial sites throughout Southampton & Portsmouth
• Managing workload effectively while meeting service deadlines

• Outside IR35
• Competeive day rate
• Weekly pay every Friday

• Proven experience with security systems (access control, intercoms, CCTV)
• Basic knowledge of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting
• Ability to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance works
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Valid DBS check required
