Rygor Service Solutions – Southampton VMU

£19.50 per hour (overtime paid at 1.5×), 48 hours per week, 4 on 4 off, 06:00 – 18:00.

Responsibilities
  • Perform major and minor repairs to heavy goods vehicles, trailers and other vehicles.
  • Perform regular inspection and preventive maintenance services such as tyre rotation and oil changes.
  • Maintain inventory in the workshop and keep area clean from oil spills and dust.
  • Work with repair teams to diagnose and plan repairs for vehicles.
  • Maintain records of vehicles that have been repaired or handled.
  • Provide repair services to clients on the road in case of emergencies.
  • Complete relevant documentation and paperwork, and submit warranty claims or elevate them to higher management.
Qualifications

Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds or IMI qualification in HGV vehicle repair and maintenance. Experienced trailer technician with ability to identify worn and faulty components in accordance with DVSA standards. Current full UK driving licence for the relevant vehicle classes. IRTEC accreditation desirable.
