Their Service Team supports owners worldwide with premium maintenance, refit, and technical expertise.

We are now seeking an experienced Marine Technician to join their highly skilled Southampton service team.

About the Role

This is a hands‑on technical role working on some of the most prestigious sailing yachts in the world. You'll be responsible for the repair, servicing, and maintenance of Swan yachts, ensuring every task meets the brand's exacting standards of quality, precision, and safety.

The role suits someone with strong multi-skilled marine experience, attention to detail, and genuine pride in their workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct maintenance, repairs, and installations across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform diagnostics and fault-finding to efficiently resolve technical issues.
  • Work closely with the Project Management Team to deliver high-quality service within agreed timescales.
  • Ensure all work complies with company standards, safety regulations, and customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials, and parts.
  • Assist with commissioning, refits, upgrades, and general service projects.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised workspace.
  • Support other technicians and contribute to team-wide project goals.
What We're Looking For
  • A minimum of three years' experience in yacht maintenance, boat building, or marine engineering — ideally within the luxury yacht sector.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven experience working on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Confident using a wide range of marine tools and equipment.
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Full driving licence.
  • A genuine passion for sailing and a solid working knowledge of the marine industry.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and travel to client locations when required.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary dependent on experience.
  • Opportunity to work with a world‑leading luxury yacht brand.
  • Ongoing training and professional development.
  • Friendly, supportive working environment.
  • Flexible working arrangements.

    Cycle-to-work scheme.
