Location:
Eastleigh
Salary: £38,480 - £40,352 (DOE) + Overtime
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm (40 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
· Carry out routine safety inspections and preventative maintenance.
· Prepare HGVs for MOT testing.
· Complete brake testing and associated inspections.
· Undertake welding and fabrication work.
· Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs.
· Service and repair rigid and articulated HGVs.
· Work on curtain-sided vehicles and skeletal (skelly) trailers.
Requirements
· Ideally qualified to Level 3 in HGV Maintenance and Repair.
· HGV Class 1 driving licence - essential.
· Driver CPC - essential.
· Clean driving licence.
· Previous experience working on rigid and articulated vehicles.
· Experience with curtain-sided vehicles and skeletal trailers.
