We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to support a project-driven construction organization in Southaven, Mississippi. This position focuses on maintaining accurate invoice workflows, ensuring timely payment processing, and helping keep vendor accounts organized and up to date. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, confidence working with high-volume transactions, and the ability to contribute to day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review, verify, and enter vendor invoices with accurate cost coding and supporting documentation.
• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, from invoice receipt through payment preparation and record retention.
• Prepare and coordinate check runs to ensure vendors are paid correctly and on schedule.
• Reconcile invoice details against purchase records, project information, and internal approvals before processing.
• Maintain organized accounts payable files and respond to vendor or internal inquiries regarding payment status.
• Assist accounting staff with invoice tracking, discrepancy resolution, and reporting related to payables activity.
• Support the use of Sage 300 for daily invoice processing and contribute to accounts payable tasks connected to the Intacct implementation, as needed.
