As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. Whether you’re leading a team, engineering processes, or driving projects, your work ensures that our customers’ products are stored, handled, and delivered with precision.
Responsibilities- Manage the site's Continuous Improvement (CI) program for quality and productivity, including management of Kaizen activities and Lean Six projects.
- Support testing, evaluating, and introducing new technologies in contract logistics.
- Align projects and CI activity to meet Production System Savings targets and region productivity improvement targets.
- Present project portfolios resulting from Value Stream Analysis activities.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers, and plan and calculate value‑added services at the customer's request.
- Verify savings for the site with financial controllers and maintain data integrity.
- Support development of productivity‑management tools within the region to ensure measurement and monitoring at process and site levels.
- Assist operations in developing Kuehne+Nagel Excellence levels in the region from Blue through Gold.
- Create SOPs and control process sustainability based on KPIs.
- Co‑work with the Regional Black Belt in developing and coaching Lean Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belts.
- Travel occasionally for training and classes as required.
- Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 3–5 years of continuous improvement experience.
- 5 years in a warehousing environment.
- 2–5 years of project‑management experience.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Ability to travel for training and classes as needed.
