Overview
Lynker Technologies – Electronics Technician Maintenance III (ETM III) (Lab) at US-MS-Stennis Space Center.

Lynker supports the National Data Buoy Center (NDBC) to provide quality meteorological and oceanographic observations in the marine environment. The program designs, engineers, fabricates/integrates, tests, deploys, and maintains buoy systems and related data collection, storage, and dissemination efforts.
Responsibilities include supporting NDBC operations for 4 worldwide buoy systems including Weather Buoy Stations, Coastal Observation (C-MAN) stations, TAO arrays, and DART stations, along with data analysis and IT/data administration as needed.
Responsibilities- Electronic component level assembly, bench testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting and/or repair of electronic line replaceable units and processing systems that require application of established methods, procedures, and techniques.
- Perform duties in an electronics laboratory environment using bench type electronic testing equipment.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting down to the component level for environmental monitoring sensors, data collection and processing systems.
- Using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, ammeters, pulse/function generators, resistance thermometers and waveform generators.
- Quality work following provided procedures, drawings and schematics.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, following procedures, redline drawings, and time constraints to ensure conformance with policies and deadlines.
- At least 6 years of experience in maintenance, repair, test, and modification of marine electrical and electronics systems including analog, digital, and RF circuitry.
- Experience operating, maintaining, and calibrating microprocessor-based data acquisition systems, test sets, sensors, laboratory bench equipment, and precision calibration electro-mechanical instruments.
- Ability to work independently with no direct supervision.
- Experience as a team leader.
- Knowledge and skill in SMD repairs and IC replacement.
- Training/experience in ESD awareness and proficiency in reading electronic schematics.
