CFO

Description We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and manage the financial operations of our organization based in Southaven, Mississippi. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in overseeing accounting processes, financial planning, and ensuring the financial health of the company. This position is perfect for someone with strong attention to detail and expertise in construction and commercial project accounting.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and manage all financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

- Oversee job cost accounting processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

- Develop and implement internal accounting controls to maintain compliance and mitigate risk.

- Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to guide strategic decision-making.

- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability and operational success.

- Conduct audits and reviews to maintain accuracy and transparency in financial records.

- Collaborate with executive leadership to align financial strategies with business goals.

- Ensure proper accounting procedures for commercial construction projects are followed.

- Provide insights and recommendations for capital management and financial improvements.

- Lead financial planning efforts for current and future business initiatives. Requirements - Proven experience in accounting functions and financial management.

- Strong knowledge of auditing practices and principles.

- Expertise in budget planning, forecasting, and financial analysis.

- Demonstrated ability to manage cash flow and capital resources effectively.

- Familiarity with construction accounting and commercial project financials.

- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Proficiency in developing and maintaining internal accounting controls.

- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to work with cross-functional teams.
