The Mississippi Department of Human Services is dedicated to serving others while providing a wide range of public assistance programs, social services, and support for children, low-income individuals and families. This individual will work in the Grant Management Unit. They will be responsible for requesting federal funds, preparing grant schedules, setting up grants in MAGIC, and other duties related to grants.

To be successful in this position, the individual will need to have analytical and communication skills, be a self-starter, possess attention to detail, and be able to work in Excel and MAGIC.

Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 4-5 years of experience and/or appropriate certification. Hiring agency preferred qualifications:
Knowledge of MAGIC, Excel, GAAP, and grant experience.
