About the Team

The Information Technology team at Relativity Space is responsible for all computing infrastructure—end‑user, server, virtualization, and cloud—alongside software services, videoconferencing, telecommunications, networking, and information security. The team supports every internal function, enabling the company’s operations and providing critical infrastructure for rocket development, manufacturing, and launch.

As an Application Administrator II, you will partner with stakeholders to shape how teams across Relativity Space collaborate, manage work, and improve business processes through enterprise productivity platforms. This role blends consulting and technical work: translating business objectives into scalable solutions, configuring platforms, and ensuring compliance with governance and security standards.

• Partner with stakeholders to understand business objectives, workflows, and operational challenges.
• Translate requirements into platform solutions and recommend tools, processes, or integrations.
• Evaluate requests against existing capabilities or platform enhancements.
• Configure and maintain Jira projects, Confluence spaces, workflows, automations, forms, dashboards, and related capabilities.
• Apply configuration standards and governance practices for consistency and maintainability.
• Contribute to platform improvement, simplification, and health initiatives.
• Support access management, permission reviews, and governance activities.
• Participate in configuration reviews, change management, and platform health initiatives.
• Ensure alignment with security, audit, and compliance requirements.
• Guide users on platform capabilities, provide training, documentation, and consultative support.
• Explain tradeoffs between customization and scalability.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, integrations, and user‑reported problems.
• Support application upgrades, plugin lifecycle management, and operational maintenance.
• Monitor performance and contribute to continuous improvement.

• Experience administering enterprise collaboration or workflow platforms such as Jira, Confluence, Service Now, or similar configurable applications.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills in integrated environments.
• Business process and systems thinking to identify pain points and recommend solutions.
• Clear communicator and collaborator, able to facilitate discussions, gather requirements, and explain solutions to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Security‑mindful, familiar with access governance and platform hygiene aligned with compliance standards.
• Integration focus, understanding how to connect Atlassian, SharePoint, and other systems to streamline workflows.

• Atlassian Certified Professional or equivalent credentials.
• Familiarity with Agile, ITSM, project portfolio management, service catalogs, or operational workflows.
• Automation and integration experience, including scripting with Power Shell, Python, or Java.
• User experience awareness for usability and design in configuration.
• Cloud and infrastructure exposure (GCP, Kubernetes, or similar environments).
• Migration project experience with upgrades, platform migrations, or cloud adoption.
• Industry experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or other complex technical sectors requiring traceability, compliance, and collaboration.

Hiring Range: $100,000—$150,000 USD.
