Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Tech Support Specialist to support the day-to-day technology needs of our warehouse operations. This role is responsible for ensuring all technology systems, computers, printers, scanners, Wi‑Fi-connected devices, and network equipment are functioning properly.
This is a temporary position!
- Set up, configure, and deploy desktop computers, laptops, monitors, printers, barcode scanners, and other warehouse technology.
- Ensure all devices are properly connected to the company Wi‑Fi and network.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Provide technical support to warehouse employees and office staff.
- Install software updates, security patches, and system upgrades.
- Monitor and maintain warehouse technology to minimize downtime.
- Configure user accounts, passwords, and device access as needed.
- Coordinate with internet service providers and third‑party vendors when necessary.
- Perform routine inspections of technology equipment to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Replace or repair malfunctioning hardware.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment, accessories, and spare parts.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and equipment installations.
- Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up workstations and technology.
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- 2+ years of IT support or technical support experience.
- Experience troubleshooting Windows PCs, printers, networking equipment, and Wi‑Fi connectivity.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts including routers, switches, DHCP, DNS, and wireless networking.
- Experience with barcode scanners, mobile devices, or warehouse technology is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond quickly to technical issues.
