Job Summary
Registered Nurse, PRN – rotating schedule including weekends.
LocationMidlothian, Texas
Responsibilities- Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
- Supports the mission, vision, values, and strategic goals of Methodist Health System.
- Assumes responsibility for the nursing components of patient care, including patients, families, and significant others.
- Creates and maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, self, coworkers, and facility.
- Takes personal responsibility and initiative for performance and professional growth.
- Utilizes the nursing process to ensure quality patient care throughout the episode of care.
- Adheres to general hospital standards, promotes a cooperative work environment, and utilizes communication skills and team building.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
- Minimum six months of RN experience.
