Clinical Resident Nurse - Cardiac Med​/Surg

This role involves providing direct and indirect patient care in various care settings, focusing on high-quality, compassionate treatment that respects patient autonomy and dignity. The nurse collaborates closely with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

• Assess patients accurately based on their medical condition.
• Administer prescribed medications and perform treatments with technical skill.
• Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans tailored to learning needs.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Address psychosocial needs and coordinate with social services for discharge planning.
• Promote patient safety, prioritize care, and practice cost-effective resource management.
• Support continuous professional development through lifelong learning.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) with BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Computer literacy is required; additional certifications like ACLS or PALS are preferred.
