Emergency Veterinarian at CVS Huntersville

Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Huntersville, North Carolina would like to add an Emergency Veterinarian to our team!

We are a busy emergency service which employs multiple doctors and a committed team of strong technicians, including a dedicated ICU team to care for hospitalized patients 24 hours/day. There is a strong sense of case sharing and communication between our services which is facilitated by twice daily rounds. Quality of life outside of the practice is something we strongly support.

For this reason, the majority of our ER vets work a combination of daytime and overnight shifts, never more than 4 shifts in a row, with large blocks of time off. This position will allow you to live out the benefits of generous compensation that will exceed that of most general practice jobs with more time off to enjoy life.

To help our DVM’s practice only the highest quality of veterinary medicine we have on-site/easy access to:

• Snyder Intensive Care Units
• In-house laboratory (Heska, IDEXX, e-POC, coagulation)
• Surgi Vet Multi-Parameter monitoring systems
• 3 Toshiba high-resolution ultrasound machines including ER FAST scan
• 24-hour care & hospitalization
• Digital radiograph
• New 128-slice CT Scanner
• State of the art facilities
• Endoscopy, including fiber otic & bronchoscopy
• CUBEX Inventory Management System

Pay Range

$130,000—$175,000 USD
