Location: Southaven, MS
Pay Rate: $19.50/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (1st Shift)
Abacus Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cycle Counter to join a fast-paced warehouse team in Southaven, MS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and supporting warehouse operations. Candidates must have experience operating a Cherry Picker/Order Picker and be comfortable working at heights.
Responsibilities- Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy
- Investigate, document, and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Maintain accurate inventory records within company systems
- Operate a Cherry Picker/Order Picker to access and count inventory in elevated rack locations
- Verify product locations, quantities, and inventory status
- Assist with physical inventories and warehouse audits
- Work closely with warehouse leadership to identify and correct inventory issues
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse best practices
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Minimum of 1 year of Cycle Counting or Inventory Control experience required
- Must be able to safely operate a Cherry Picker/Order Picker
- Previous warehouse experience required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Ability to work at heights while operating warehouse equipment
